I'm referring to the T1100. News to me if it only ran off AC -- in which
case (surprise) I declare it a portable computer ("one that's primarily
designed to be an easy-to-move-around all-in-one system") but not a laptop
(because, in case anyone forgot already, laptops bring their power with
them in the aforementioned portable unit).
Had I realized the T1100's no-battery status (if indeed that's the truth
about it), then I would have made a big ruckus about it at the time.
