Yes, it's written from the point of view of interfacing a PET and understanding
how a PET talks on the bus, but there's _lots_ of info about how the bus works
in general, IMHO enough information to be able to build a device of your own
from scratch that would be able to talk to a PET, et
al.
For DEC application of this book, remember that a IBV11 card (IEEE-488) was
standard on a MINC laboratory computer (11/03 or 11/23-based, running RT-11)
