Yep good old entrepeneureal self-interest. Several community councils in
our national parks up here comprised of local businessmen make sure there is no
competition by denying potential competitors the required business licence. So
much for the socially advantageous benefits of the "free" market.

It's called Rotarian Socialism and it's a permanent feature of
Republican politics with many Democrat supporters. "Leave us
alone to run our businesses and keep those subsidies coming". I
don't feel like preaching this morning. If a business requires a
license, there isn't a free market, leave it at that.
