I regard Steve Jobs as an icon who contributed much to the "consumerisation"
of computer technologies and computer-based services. However, he was not
without flaws and (from what I've read) in the early-mid 1980s his unbending
will and extreme self-belief lead to mistakes which almost undid Apple.
Either way, the man is very ill and I wish him all the best in that battle.
