build, and it's just
unfortunate that the vast majority of people want cheap shit with
poor reliability and a short lifespan.
I think that's inaccurate at least by implication.
I think it's not the individual end users that want that. I think it's
the intermediate companies. They want inexpensive and they want it to
die ASAP after the warranty period.
We don't know what end users want. They are mostly not given an chance
to express a desire for anything else by purchasing decisions, since
it's difficult to find anything else amid the ocean of
race-to-the-bottom cheap crap. Most end users have never encountered
decent reliability.
