What I like about DOSEMU is the shared access to files between Linux and
DOSEMU.
FWIW, there is a CLI argument in DOSEMU for passing direct hardware
access to a specified range of ports. I've never had to use it, so I
can't say how well it works.
I don't know if it's possible to have cut-and-paste between Linux and
DOSEMU windows, but's possible with certain guest OSes (e.g. Windows XP)
to do that under VirturalBox.
