On the subject of front panels, has anyone ever seen a
Q-bus panel? Looking
at the bus specs it seems like such a thing should be doable, wondering if
anyone actually had done it.

ISTR that DEC made one for it's FE's. I believe that Megan has one, and I
might have the manual for it (I've not had time to figure out exactly what
the manual is for).
