HP also used a 5% 880 ohm, non-standard value in the same application.
Looking at the schematics, you just need to draw a trickle charge
current for the battery backup version
of the supply to run. I suspect HP used extra stock parts, and this is
really not such a critical value.

the resister inside. I think I was told 880 ohms, but that doesn't appear
to be a standard resister value while 820 ohms is a standard value. Now
Since HP used a 5% resistor, I would bet that 800 ohms or 820 ohms will
be fine...
