Apologies if somebody posted this earlier - it's hard to keep
track of what's been covered & what's not, sometimes.
There are a couple of interesting articles in the Spring 1999
issue of "American heritage of Invention & Technology" magazine,
published by Forbes. A short article in the "Notes from the
Field" section is about the replica being created at Iowa
State University of the "Atanasoff-Berry Computer", originally
built between 1939 & 1942. There's also an extensive article
about Howard Aiken and the Harvard-IBM Mark I computer.
Those of you interested in really old computers may want to
check this stuff out at your local library.
