[VT220 on the blink]
Does anybody know what happened?
This is a fairly common symptom of power supply failure.
Sometimes this kind of failure is intermittent (meaning, if you
slap the box around some it might start working again. If you've
got some frustration to vent you can just slap it around until it's
a pile of plastic, PCB, and glass...)
