Anyway, I thought they were referring to the Computer
History Museum. At
any rate, "the wild" assumes post productive use and something that is
sitting in a garage or at a ham fest or something. In that regard, I've
not heard of a CM being found out "in the wild".
One of the shipping crates was out in the wild of Providence for a while.
Not wanting it, Fort Thunder (a local group of art weirdos) took it, but
left it outside for some time next to an old mill.
