I still consider paper tape to be more analog, so I suspect digitized
paper tape is the tape processed some way into a file.
Eh? Ever piece of paper tape I've ever used, every punch and every
reader,. dependsd on the presence or absence of a holes. The hole is
either there or not. There are no half-holes. That to me makes it a
digital storage medium.
In what sense is it analogue? Are you also going to claim that CDs, DVDs
and floppy disks are analogue? What about flash memory devices?
