Hi!
This probably doesn't count as true vintage, since it's circa 1992

21 years old. It's old enough to drink, so I say it counts! :^)
I just scored an SGI Indigo Iris, complete, with
keyboard, mouse, 19"
beige SGI monitor, two internal hard drives, floppy drive, DDS tape
drive, and external CD-ROM, plus boxes full of software and books.
It's a 33Mhz 16M system with an R3000 w/ math coprocessor.
Absolutely beautiful. These were very common on the SGI campus when I
worked there (though they had been EOL'ed for the Indy), and it's still
my personal favorite SGI system for nostalgia reasons. It's nice to have
the matching, era-appropriate keyboard and monitor, too.
The books are sweet. I really regret all the manuals I got rid of over
the years bedcause (at the time) they weren't classic, they were just
"obsolete" and I wasn't using them any more. That's why that stuff is
so
precious and important to keep. No wonder I've turned into such a
pack-rat :)
Great score! I hope you have tons of fun with it!
