I have a number of passwords I use, but some of the
systems at my
school have both very restrictive password requirements and a short
password expiration; as a result, many students have taken to just
sticking a number on the end of their passwords and incrementing it by
one each change.
$work-1 had a password policy like that. One day, a co-worker phoned
to ask me to log her out of her workstation, so she could log in at a
different location. "Sure, what's your password? I'll have to unlock
it, first." "It's 'Welcome34'."
