I think in the UK there are fewer re-cyclers. I used to get calls at
work from such people but I don't recall having one recently. I'll try
and find out who we use as they are supposed to attempt to sell stiuff
on, but its ages since we sent them an Sun boxes or other tasty stuff....

talk small deals with end users?
Mind you, they don't want 100 different calls from collectors, but perhaps
if you could get the collectors in your area together, and ask if 10 or so
people could come visit on a Saturday, or sometime after hours, it might
make it worthwhile for them. Try presenting yourselves as a computer club;
you will probably get more luck that way. You might also mention specific
groups of gear that are wanted, and have all the Sun collectors go one day,
the DEC people another. That way it is less hassle for the recyclers.

I wish there was someone doing this in the UK. I tried talking to recyclers
here and generally get no response at all - not even a no.
I'd love a Lisa or MacXL if I could find one at sensible money!
