I've
replaced two in mice, which admittedly isn't many, but do you
really think they're as reliable in the long term as a multiple-zone
capacitance touch sensor?
I've never replaced one in a mouse, so I'm not qualifed to say, but
how does a touch sensor stand up to ESD in comparison to a
microswitch?
