2112's are 256x4, aren't they? they're the ones in the 16- or 18-pin package
aren't they?
They were quite slow, IIRC, but of the same class as the 2101's, 2102's, etc,
in that they were like 10 micron nmos 1Kbit srams with an access time of about
750 ns or more.

Subject: RE: Anyone need 2112 RAMs?
I believe this was the chip used in late-model
Commodore PETs (after
they designed out the earlier 6550 chips); maybe someone wants to
confirm this for the list.
Not sure. I think there was a redesign of the static PET, but I thought
it used 2114s (same geometry as the 6550s). There might be schematics
on funet.
I have a later model 2001-16N with the plastic case and I
believe it uses 8 - 4116's for it's 16k of RAM. I've got the eight
sockets and eight additional 4116's to upgrade it to 32k but have
never gotten around to doing it.
