I have a well-treated Macintosh SE/30 that
I'd like to fix up.
Problem 1) Whenever the CPU is doing something or something is being
read or written, faint warbling screeches can be heard coming from
inside. The volume control does nothing to quell this noise.
Just a guess, but the last few SE30's I've come across have all had at
least a few dried out capacitors causing problems.. This could be the
reason for problem 1.
