Moo.. My beef ... USB cables force you to have everything on the
desktop. Sometimes you need to put someting over there rather than
right by the computer.
Depending on the power requirements of the device you can get 15' off of
USB w/o repeating. I have 15' booster cables as well, which put devices
"over there". Usually not high speed of course, but not out of the
question.
But who lives in a world where a single person writes
both sides (host
and client) software for a given USB application?
That is anotehr reason to dislike the thing!
