Whereas I'd much prefer London myself, why do you
adamantly rule out
anywhere else, JOOI? It's only a fiver to go to Guildford or somewhere
like that and most of the SE at least can be done pretty cheaply.
Becasue I'd want to bring at least one interesting toy along, and that is
not something I'd fancy doing on a train...
