Having an 18-bit Unibus interface for the KS10 is
a great idea. You could
easily put enough RAM on the board to emulate several Massbus disk drives
and save the disk images on flash.
I think Brad Parker is planning on doing that with the next generation of
Unibus disk interface software for his board.

Notice the two Unibus parity signals are routed to the CPLD :-)
This is a cool project. Is it ongoing or stalled. The webpage does not
seem to have any dates at the top level to give an indication of progress.
It's
ongoing! I just needed a short 6 year break to clear my head :-)
After letting it sit for years while I did other things I've recently
revived it and am in the process of finishing up the initial rev. Years
ago I got frustrated with the debug progress but didn't bother to
actually do the real engineering and debugging required (despite having
the tools in front of me - I guess sometimes hobbies are like that -
real work always getting in the way).
Anyway, I'll report progress as it happens. I am hoping to make a
version which supports the KS10... we'll see.
