It has. It comes up every now and then on every mailing list. What
usually happens is that those who want a newsgroup go off a create a
newsgroup, and the ones who can't access or don't like newsgroups stick the e-mail list, and the real die-hards follow both,
cross-posting
stuff
all the time.
