It is true that many system that didn't have
connectviity to the big
hub systems
that formed tha backbone if DARPA-net then later
ARPAnet used UUCP to
pass their
traffic?
There never was a "DARPA-net". ARPA was renamed DARPA more than a
decade after the ARPANET was originally created.
