it. An astonishingly large number of people are stupid enough to

Because Thing B is faster, Thing A is no longer

That reminds me of a thought I have from time to time when
confronted with statements like "The
computer is already x years old, it' getting too slow and must be
replaced" -- A computer doesn't
get slower with time.....!
