What happened to Ferranti? We used to use one of their RADARs on the
system that I worked on but I haven't heard anything about them since the
program was cancelled.
FWIW I used to be like you but I get feed up with being stuck in low
paying jobs while the educated idiots made twice as much money as I did
but
couldn't do the work and I had to do my job and
theirs too. I finally went
back to college and got a degree (two actually). My salary tripled after
that. I hate to say it but it was probably the best thing that I ever did
career wise.
