My father-in-law ordered a small lab of TI99/4A's when he was working for a
company in the very early 80's. He was impressed with their capabilities,
but ended up buying an Atari 800 for home use. They ditched the 99's in
favor of the IBM PC's when they came out (I think it was an upper management
decision,) but he kept using his 800 at home until finally "upgrading" to a
486 in the 90's. He still used his 800 along with his PC's though.
