I havn't, but I did have an Atari ST monitor with a fault, which I
fixed. It was a bad connector on the incoming video from the ST, and
when it failed to connect I simply got a blank screen. I think I
ended up removing the duff connector and soldering the wires straight
to the PCB. Might be worth checking the connector in your monitor.
