Heh...that description sounds about right to me.
About the only big Itanium system I'll trust will be SGI's ccNUMA system,
because it's based on the Origin3000 architecture. I KNOW there's no Intel
influence there beyond the processor itself. I'd sure like to get my hands on
one of those, when they become available...mmm...I like working for a
university ;-)
