Has anyone
seen this: it was a 40x25 character based dungeon crawl type
game, a lot like
Gauntlet. Your icon was a happyface with a <^>v to indicate direction. 4
players each get
a set of keys (4 people crowded around 1 keyboard). I don't think it was
called gauntlet...
