I remember seeing one in 1979/1980 and the bell was
described to me as
"grinding the gears on a 1952 Chevy" :-).
That 'Bell', is astually a relay that's driven by a square-wave signal
from the logic (AFAIK it doesn't use the break
contact on the relay to
make a buzzer). The same relay, fed with a pulse generates
the keyclick.
Even bona-fide VT100s are scarce.
There are 3 or 4 here, along with a VT105.
I don't have a VT52, though. I do have a VT55, does that count ? :-)
