Well, they are classic enough , since the small 20MB versions were
discontinued in '89, but, no, you can't read the 20 MB cartridges in the 44
and 88 MB drives, since the 20's are floppy disks while the 44's and 88's
are hard disks similar to the ones offered by SyQuest. I gave one of the
SCSI Removable HD drives away a month or two ago because the cartridge cost
was ridiculous.

Not classic, but a related question: are 230MB Bernoulli drives capable of
reading the older 20MB 5.25" Bernoulli disks? I know they can read 44MB
and
various other capacities.
