Are there any working 7030s anywhere?
Not a chance. Only a few (<20) were made. CHM has most of one.
7030s were enourmously complex machines - well over 100,000
transistors, and probably almost a million passive components. It
would be a very long shot to try to get one working again. It would
probably be easier to get a tube machine like a 709 working.
I, of course, encourage CHM to try...
At least get the S/360 going...
