That sounds like an excellent reason NOT to use it.
Further, there are lots of calendaring solutions out there.
Further yet, WTF does that have to do with EMAIL?! Lack of product
purpose focus is hardly the exclusive domain of Microsoft, heck look at
iTunes which does EVERYTHING now...and if you try hard enough, it'll
actually play mp3s...but calendaring built into an email client is
pretty silly.
