Removing a key cap is a routine request from a keyboard collector; he
wants to know what kind of switches it has. I don't see anything to
'beware' of, other than an informed buyer. What are you selling that you
think would be damaged by removing a key cap?
It depends on the keyboard. I've had some where it was nearly impossible
to remove the keycap without pulling apart the microswitch in the process.
Most of the time though removing a keycap isn't that difficult (except for
laptop keyboards...)
