VMS's present estimated installed base, what was its
direction and rate of change in the last decade?
IIRC, they've claimed 400,000 for years, and at the same time
you're always hearing of customers moving off of it. The reasons
for the lack of new customers are totally the Corporate owners
fault. It has been on a decline for well over a decade. The moves
to kill it off started with DEC itself.
