So, if I'd been punished at school for attacking
somebody, playing
truant, vandalising the school, etc, then they would certainly have
supported the shcool (and probably punished me themselves). But if I'd
been punished _in any way_ for asking a serious question that was related
to the lesson, then all hell would have broken loose. The school would
not have known waht had hit them....
A janitor once threatened to fight me if I opened this one door a second
time...
the rest of
the semester, but the second semester's instructor actually
LOVED math and would do extra research to ask our oddball questions.
You were very lucky...
