Tried to get them working on a serial
port, using an existing serial mouse, but did not manage.
Somehow there is a difference in the quadrature signals, I
did not investigate further.
I have thought of doing something like that but to attach one
to an Amiga. Haven't tried it yet.
I reconstructed its schematic, together with the rest
