Who knows what the last generation games that were canceled would have looked like (takes time to get the most out of a console). I got the keyboard, mouse, VGA adapter, and some other stuff for mine. The Nintendo is credited for getting the console market going again after Atari killed it (almost). My first console after the Atari 2600 was a Playstation 1, so I missed all the others in between. The C64 and PC were decent for gaming in that time (along with the Amiga).
