Mine just has a small 4.5v lithium. the type that you use on AT's and AT
clones of the period with 3 or 4 inch leads and velcros inside. Been in
there for about 4 yrs and it works fine, you just have to be careful where
you velcro or tie it down to be able to let add-in ISA cards work with it
too. My other Powermate portables had this same type battery, wonder is
someone didn't make that up themselves or just find a decent substitute. I
can't see that it needs a 6v (2x3) cmos source either.
