This came up a while back on one of the apple2 newsgroups. At least with the
ramfast scsi interface, there were apparently showstopping issues - the
interface was designed exclusively for disks and didn't implement some part
or other of SCSI needed for the ethernet device.
I've often
wondered how difficult it would be to use one of my Mac SCSI
Ethernet boxes to put my IIgs on the net. I'd need to reverse engineer
the interface and then hack Marinetti to support it (assuming it is
actually release open source).
Does anyone have a program for the Mac that will
trap all the traffic
to/from a given SCSI ID?
