I fear the dreaded static-electricity from plastic materials draped
over these machines, firstly is the fear warranted (given the static
is "outside"/external to the machine; I'm guessing the discharge is
traveling via grounded chassis etc.)? secondly, would plain cotton
drop-cloths be preferable as dust protection (and no static)?
