Thanks much for the information! I am kind of curious now as to how rare or
hard to get these chips are. Aside from what is already in motherboards, I

In a pinch, use 256K x 1 chips! :-)
Between 100ns and 120ns even 45ns would do but what a waste to put
that in use on a brain dead 285'er.
(personal favorite: Type 2 motherboard and XT 286.)
