Prefixes are a good idea gone bad.
I finally found a use for them - they're handy when doing a scan of my junk
mail folder in order to detect any false-positives before consigning the junk
to the trash. Beyond that though, prefixes are both redundant and annoying as
all hell :-)
Better yet: Filter on this header:
X-BeenThere: cctalk at
classiccmp.org
Does that work? There are two or three listmembers who insist on posting to
neither cctalk or cctech, which means that filtering on one or the other
doesn't *always* work. Maybe X-BeenThere is guaranteed to be filled in
correctly by the list server software, though.
What do you do when Life gives you lemons,
and you don't *like* lemonade?????????????
Pancakes.
Oh, and to the OP: welcome to the list :)
cheers
