Good question.
An early one is the computer museum that DEC built (Gordon Bell's
idea?) in its Marlborough plant. That was in the 1980s I think.
Later that became the Boston computer museum, which in fairly short
order was run into the ground.
Too bad. I saw the Marlborough version and it had some neat stuff.
One of the oddball items was a part of the Goodyear STARAN.
