I have a need to build a serial converter down here. ISTR RS-422 drivers
are something like 26L32s, which we have. What I'm not sure of is what
26LS31 drivers, 26LS32 receivers IIRC.
to use for the RS485 end. Any suggestions?

I seem, to rememebr using the TI SN75176 chip for this. I assume you're
using multiple drivers on the RS485 bus, so you'll need to find some way
of controlling the enable pins of the 75176.
what's here since we won't see any planes for
five more months.
