It's probably bogus.
I heard it on the TV "news", and there was not enough information to
follow up.
In case anyone is interested, the Apple-1 sold for
$14,000, right at
the
reserve price.
On eBay, a T-shirt from
Abercrombie and Fitch that was deemed to be
offensive to Chinese-Americans sold for $15,000.
