You're right, Mike, but people who trespassing onto the "attractive
nuissance"
should be shot before they drown.
You have YOUR stuff and I have MINE. You have your private space and I have
mine. I have both the right and responsibility to protect my private space and
my property. The courts have upheld the property owner's right to apply deadly
force in protecting his/her own life/property. This presents an option to other
forms of population/pest control that some might find attractive. Now all we
need is a way to transmit deadly force over the internet.
Have you read Neuromance by William Gibson? In the book they have computer
protection called "Black ICE" which can kill someone trying to break into a
computer over the network.. The novel was written *long* before the internet
we know today.
