OK, but you have to use proper graphited yarn
instead of PTFE
and O-rings. Or use compressed air - you can buy the gates
off the shelf if you're rich enough.
Why don't we just use one of the origins of computing engines as we know
today - the woollen weaving engine. We just need to come up with a way of
getting the shuttle to move between weaving stations :)
