Very nice keyboards. I wish someone made an adaptor to connect such
keyboards to a PC.
Anyone know how to get into the setup mode?
I have a couple of 3472s. I've never powered them up to see if they even
work, and have no controller to connect them to. I saved them from the
dumpster when our IBM CE room was cleaned out. Unfortunately we've switched
from IBM to SMS for maintenance on all our mainframe
and AS/400 equipment.
IBM didn't want anything from the CE room. They said we
could keep whatever
we wanted and toss the rest. It made me wish I was driving something larger
than a Chevy S-10 at the time.
I'm not sure how similar 3472s are to 3471s. They might use the same
keyboard. On the keyboards I have "SetUp" is on front of the ExSel key,
middle key in the left hand row of keys at the far left of the keyboard. If
I remember correctly shift or alt plus that key entered setup mode. I
forget which.
