Actually the ps/2 line uses RS6000 (mini Centronics 60) for SCSI and they tend to
be a little expensive for cables. Even Dalco that had RS6000 cables for $18 went
back to $39 for a 3 ft cable. The 90 is a nice machine for sure if you have a
grasp of MCA over ISA.

It should all still be in there. It was working and

unplugged it and gave it to me. I haven't opened if but I did notice that
it has what looks like a micro SCSI connector on the back.
What's the tpe number on the right lower fornt of the unit? It will be
something like 8590-xxx or 9590-xxx and the xxx part denotes the processor
 and
other standard options from the factory.
It's 8590-0H9. Let me know what that means.
8590-0H9 - System Unit 486SX-25, 4MB, 160MB, 1.44, 101 keyboard from the factory
but can be different in some ways due to up/downgrades since it left IBM. The
90's can use the 2.88 floppies too, an PS/2 style keboard or mouse, most SCSI
drives with SCSI I 50 pin ribbon connections. The only real difference is that
the setup/diags are on a hidden 1mb partition (system partition) which is eas to
restore, but makes people craz when they want to use a PS/2 drive set with it for
another machine that doesn't use it, especially for a boot drive. Evidentally the
tape was an after thought addition. It will probabl accept a DC2120 style QIC40
or 80 tape. My guess is an Irwin 250 tape drive.
If yyou need the URL to IBM PS/2
harwardware manaul online (HMM) let me know and
I'll post it.
Yes. I'd like to have it.

  I have a couple
here in varying states just in case you're
overwhelmed with people wanting
90's....
I am but most of them want me to give it to them!
I hear that, that's why I still have mine for the time...
